On October 19, local time, Chairman Zhang Bo visited Stuttgart, Germany. He visited Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt(DLR) and Baden-Württemberg Lightweight Bureau respectively.
During his visit to DLR, Zhang Bo had an in-depth exchange with Prof. Seth, Director of the Institute of Energy Storage Technology of the University of Stuttgart, and Dr. Peng Ke, CEO of Most2Energy, on the cooperation of renewable energy storage. He signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation among WEIQIAO Germany, Most2Energy and the Institute of Energy Storage Technology of the University of Stuttgart.
Seth and Peng Ke highly appreciated Weiqiao Pioneering Group's forward-looking layout and hoped the project would achieve pragmatic results soon.
Before the signing ceremony and meeting, Zhang Bo and his delegation also visited the energy storage laboratory and testing plant.
During the visit to Baden-Württemberg Lightweight Bureau, Zhang Bo and Dr. Siliger, Director of Baden-Württemberg Lightweight Bureau, reviewed and looked forward to the cooperation between the two sides in the field of lightweight, and focused on the latest trend of lightweight development, innovative applications and promotion of lightweight in urban transportation and construction, as well as the preparation of the 2nd Sino-German Lightweight Summit.
Siliger welcomed Zhang Bo and his delegation and expressed his willingness to work together with Weiqiao Pioneering Group to play a greater role in promoting cooperation between China and Germany in lightweight R&D, manufacturing and application.
